Employment for Veterans

RBVE helps veterans and people with disabilities find meaningful work, through inclusive social enterprises and Lifeworks, our award-winning employability programme.

Employment Support

RBVE helps veterans and people with disabilities build independent, working lives through real jobs, tailored support, and inclusive pathways to employment.

We don’t offer token roles or one-size-fits-all advice. We deliver practical, personalised support that leads to long-term stability. Whether someone is looking for their first job after service, re-entering the workforce after injury, or building confidence after a period of unemployment, we tailor our support to their goals.

What is a Social Enterprise?

A social enterprise is a business that reinvests its profits to create positive social impact.

At RBVE, every contract we deliver directly supports our charitable mission to create meaningful, paid job opportunities for military veterans and people with disabilities. We know that employment is the key to independence, and it’s why we focus on helping people overcome barriers to work, rebuild confidence, and develop the skills needed to sustain a career in UK manufacturing.

Purpose-Led Manufacturing Across the UK

Through RBVE manufacturing arms – Britain’s Bravest Manufacturing Company (BBMC) and Scotland’s Bravest Manufacturing Company (SBMC) – we deliver

high-quality signage, print, and manufacturing solutions to major infrastructure, construction, defence, and public and private sector clients across the UK. RBVE combines operational excellence with social impact, proving that businesses can deliver both outstanding commercial results and positive change.

Lifeworks

RBVE’s award-winning employability programme is designed and delivered by veterans for veterans, and their families.

Lifeworks is free, fast, and effective. 80% of participants move into employment, training, or volunteering within twelve months. We also support the families of serving and veteran military personnel too.
