What is RBVE’s Tommy Trek?

Tommy Trek is a fundraising challenge designed to mark the anniversary of the D-Day Landings in 1944.

Trek with us as a team or individual through the Kent countryside to raise vital funds to support RBVE. Funds raised are used to provide employment, create homes and build communities for veterans and people with disabilities.

Breakfast will be included along the route to keep you fully fuelled mid-way through your trek.

What is D-Day?

It was at 10am on 6 June 1944 that the BBC Home Service presenter, John Snagge, announced these immortal words: “D-Day has come. Early this morning the Allies began the assault on the north-western face of Hitler’s European fortress.”
