RBVE was honoured to join Ash Alexander Cooper OBE for the launch of Mindful Soldier, his powerful new book exploring the often-unseen realities many veterans carry long after service.

Ash is a former senior British military officer, an internationally recognised specialist in elite performance, and a long-standing advocate for veterans’ wellbeing.

His commitment to veterans’ recovery and reintegration is personal and well established. Ash has been part of the RBVE family for many years: as a supporter, a fundraiser, and a dedicated ambassador of the Tommy Club.

During the event, Ash presented RBVE with a cheque from his book advance, marking the first of several contributions as proceeds from Mindful Soldier will continue to support the charity’s work. The scale of RBVE’s mission: creating jobs, providing homes, and building communities for thousands of veterans each year means that every donation is put to work immediately.

This partnership carries an even deeper significance. Every copy of Mindful Soldier purchased through the RBVE Shop will be packed and fulfilled by veterans rebuilding their lives after life changing injuries. Increased demand directly translates into more employment opportunities that help veterans regain confidence, independence, and stability.
